Just Saving
South London
Volunteer
JustSaving is an innovative and exciting new social enterprise that provides a new form of charitable giving, replacing cash with action. This action is currently focused on personal carbon saving actions – from ‘becoming a herbivore’ to installing solar thermal heating. Using the viral nature of sponsorship and the peer-to-peer learning power inherent in social networks, JustSaving will enable simple, proactive carbon-saving ideas to reach audiences that traditional environmental campaigns really struggle to engage.
Momentum is building rapidly and it is time to expand JustSavings’ team. Support is specifically needed in building relationships in preparation for the launch of the website (early summer 2010) and coordinating the launch event – a slightly quirky sponsored cycle ride. However, the ideal candidate will also support Hermione in shaping business strategies and play an integral part in developing JustSaving. For more info go to http://justsaving.org/jobs.
Send CVs to: Hermione@justsaving.org.
